Bốn phương no ấm an hòa
Trời xuân đất mẹ, mai hoa nở vàng
Có vần lục bát thênh thang
Trăng thanh bình đẹp xóm làng quê tôi
Niềm vui tôi, niềm vui tôi
Hội xuân đất Mẹ người người Tự Do
Ai vui tiếng hát câu hò
Một trời Xuân mộng, tươi hoa An Bình
Nắng hồng trên tóc em xinh
Bài thơ Hoa Nắng lung linh, nắng cười
Niềm vui tôi, niềm vui tôi
Nắng vàng rực rỡ, nắng trời Việt Nam…

A spring dream of
the bright sunshine in Vietnam skies
English version by NGUYỄN HỮU LÝ
My joy, my sheer joy
As the early sun's rays at a winterly dawn
Oh, my darling! Do you remember anything at all?
Oh, my poor heart! With my inmost feelings in the strange land!
Far away from my homeland some twenty long years
I love my little sister in the midst of a quiet street
My old white-haired silent mother
I cherish a young woman whose youth has gradually declined
Bit by bit for my country
A bit that chokes from the very bottom of my dazed heart
My joy amidst the spring
As new future buds are sprouting among flowers and foliages
The blueness immensely spreads in the high seas
Lovely blossoming prettify the homeland welkin
My sheer joy is likely a shining sunlight
A rosy sunshine on lovable streets
A young child flies a kite on the dike
In urban areas, with dainty and graceful silk dresses
Everywhere is well-off and safe and sound
Under the motherland's skies, yellow apricot flowers blossom profusely in springtime
There are widespread six-eight word distinct poems
The peaceful moon beautiflies my native land's villages
My joy, my sheer joy
As everyone enjoys freedom during my motherland's gauds
Whoever feels pleasantly interested in singing or chanting
He'll live under the dreamy spring welkin, abounding in fresh flowers of peace and comfort
The rosy sun is shining on your pretty hair
The "Flowery Sunshine" poem is glittering with the smiling sun
My joy, my sheer joy
It would be the bright yellow sunshine in a sunny vault of heaven in Vietnam
